Biography

Meet Jordan

Jordan Barnett has a passion for learning! Raised as an athlete (basketball, baseball, football, wrestling, swimming, and track), in a sport-loving family, Barnett realizes the value that having a well-rounded approach to learning can create. In the words of Lauryn Hill’s song, “Everything is everything.” To Barnett, this means that connections can be made in every aspect of life. This philosophy towards life and learning helps to make learning a fun and engaging process for both student and teacher as parallels relating to music can be observed and utilized. His instrumental expertise includes piano, bass guitar, and percussion, while his creative prowess includes composing, arranging, and producing (see below for area experience). A few of his musical inspirations include Janek Gwizdala, Oscar Peterson, and Miles Davis.
